BodyIn this world, there are beauty standards for men and women set by society that causes a lot of self hate towards peoples bodies because they don't look the way that society calls people "beautiful". This piece is about body shaming and over coming body shaming. It shows the words that people hatefully say towards others about their bodies and the woman over throwing the words and is confident to say that she is beautiful. That's how I feel everyone should feel about themselves. So see themselves as beautiful and not ugly and comparing themselves to the models society throws at them to try and be like. This is really personal piece because I feel like I am the woman because I have overcome body shaming after years of hate and I want to show others that they can as well if they learned to love who they are and what they look like because you are more than just your appearance.

City Lights No Starry NightsThere' s so much electricity and technology in our world. People are caught up in what's on TV or social media. Most people tend to stay indoors to enjoy these. In bigger cities there is so much light that there's barely any dark during the night. While we are indoors on our technology, we are missing natures natural light show. The stars right above our heads. People need to take a moment to set down their phones, turn off all the lights, and take a step outside and look up. We need to appreciate what we have now because one day, there could be so much light, that the stars are downed out in their vast eternal darkness that is space.
